HLA-Forum - 27th February 2002


The faculty for computer science of the Otto-von-Guericke-University of Magdeburg arranges in cooperation with the "Fraunhofer Institut für Fabrikbetrieb und -automatisierung" (IFF) in connection with the conference "Simulation and Visualization 2002" the 4th HLA-Forum in Magdeburg. For all participants of the conference the exploratory visit of the HLA-Forum is included in the conference fees.

The High Level Architecture (HLA) develops altogether constantly and in Germany today it has established as an acknowledged architecture for simulation. Besides the classical area of application: the defend-technical simulation there are new civil areas like manufacture, logistics and training. Links and synergyeffects with other technologies, for example the geo-information-systems, are examined.

Traditionell the 4th HLA-Forum is meant for users, provider, academic teacher and those who are interested in, furthermore it is meant for people who work on the area of HLA or who would like to get informed about the use of HLA.

Every participant has the chance, to introduce and discuss projects, ideas and visions. There will be no limitation of the number of recitations.




You are invited, to acquire an interest in the forum: either activ or passiv. For relief of the organisation we request to send the following information:

30.11.2001 : confirmation of the participation with an optional listing of titels for the recitations and the needed time via E-Mail to: tom@isg.cs.uni-magdeburg.de
31.01.2002 : mailings of the program of the HLA-Forum to all participants
01.02.2002 : submission of the participation for the publication per E-Mail an: tom@isg.cs.uni-magdeburg.de

The fee for every participant will be 10,00€ and is meant for the figuration of the supply in the pauses. For visitors of the conference "Simulation and Visualization 2002" this amount due is included in the conference fee.
