| 6th HLA-Forum on 3rd March 2004 |

On March, 3rd , 2004, the School of Computer Science of the Otto-von-Guericke-University
Magdeburg (FIN) together with the Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation
(IFF) will host the 6th Magdeburg HLA Forum in conjunction with the Conference "Simulation
and Visualisation 2004" (SimVis2004). Established in 1999, the annual HLA Forum offers an open platform for topics related to the High Level Architecture for modelling and simulation (HLA), distributed simulation and interoperability issues in general. Contributions will cover R&D and conceptual work as well as prototypes and operational systems. The 6th Magdeburg HLA Forum is open for participants from research, academia, governmental and administrational bodies, military, business, students and people working with or interested in HLA and its applications. The forums aims to offer an interesting opportunity for presentations, discussions, networking and exchange of ideas and experiences. Participants will have the opportunity to present concept, architectures, tools, prototypes and systems. Short versions of papers and presentations (2 pages) will be published as unrefereed addenda to the Proceedings of the SimVis2004 Conference (deadline see below). |

| 29th November 2003: | Register as Participant / Contributor / Exhibitor, preferably with information on type, title and expected duration of your contributions, via email. |
| 16th January 2004: | Submission of contributions (short versions) for publication in the SimVis2004 Conference Proceedings via email. |
